Was Parfitt taught Latin grammar at Durham University by Anne Everest, former Headmistress of St Margaret's, before her departure for St George's School for Girls in Edinburgh, after just 3 years in post and before she had managed to get a single St Margaret's girl into Oxbridge, from her personal lunchtime tutoring?
The puzzle remains of explaining how Parfitt was DEMOTED for GIRLTEXTING at Moira House School for Girls but PROMOTED at St Margaret's School for Girls, within months, moving to the far North of Scotland from the South Coast of England, apparently without Scottish Government Ministers being told of his circumstances by Anne Everest or her, then, deputy, Dr Julie Land.

I sing with the Aberdeen bach choir and before he was appointed I did hear rumours about his past. i checked the internet and was shocked when I read about his past. I did consider leaving the choir but decided to see how it went. He has now been in charge for about 6 months and to be honest he is an excellent conductor. I have not had any personal dealings with him but I have not found him unprofessional in any way. I remain cautious but have no complaints so far.

So me and my friends were getting changed for PE in our form classroom the other day. Parfitt burst in without knocking, and though we were clearly in a state of undress he continued to enter the room and started chatting to my friend, whilst looking around at the rest of us, who were half-naked.
Also, in music class, he commented on a hole in the upper-thigh area of my friend's tights, basically informing her before the class that he'd been looking up her skirt.
Given Parfitt's colourful past I am surprised that A) he was actually employed by St Margaret's, who were allegedly aware of the allegations that were made and investigated by the police, and B) that he perceives the way in which he continues to behave as acceptable.

Parfitt is now musical director of Aberdeen Bach Choir. It is not known if women in the choir know of his recent and past behaviour around young women. The choir is meeting on Tuesdays at St Margaret's School for Girls.

If anyone is able to contact the parents of the girl he was texting in Eastbourne, or can reveal anything about the move from the girls' preparatory school to Moira House, as well as being posted here, such information can be given to Aberdeen City Council who are now aware of allegations about Peter Parfitt and the questions which should be asked.

Not sure the man is necessarily a paedophile but he is definitely a predator and not adverse to taking advantage of vulnerable young women. He should not be allowed to have contact with children.

Fact: Peter Parfitt had a sexual relationship with a sixth form pupil at Moira House five yearsago. The school had allowed him to accompany the girl to auditions, staying overnight. The senior management of the school has lied to the press by claiming that the girl in question was 21 and an ex pupil at the time.
Fact: Peter Parfitt did not provide any references before he was appointed, claiming that his current school would refuse to pay him if they knew that he had applied elsewhere! Without references he should never have been interviewed, let alone appointed. One can only speculate as to the real reason why he could not provide references.
Fact: 18 months ago Peter Parfitt was seen by a year 8 pupil kissing a 6th form pupil in a car outside the school at about 7am.

Anyone with any knowledge of similar conduct should have reported his behaviour and/or put it in the public arena. Any pupil or parent wanting to ensure that this teacher is not allowed to remain in a position where he can overstep the pupil/teacher boundary again should report any similar incidents at this school or other schools to the local paper.

It is not known if Dr Land, Headmistress, has investigated the recent allegation that Parfitt was inappropriately observing and commenting on a girl's damaged tights, in class, in front of witnesses.

Attempts are being made to wipe the many, ongoing allegations of inappropriate behaviour around schoolgirls by this man, from the web. The latest allegation from St Margaret's in Aberdeen is that Parfitt walked in on a group of semi-clothed girls changing for PE in a classroom and actually struck up a conversation with a half-dressed girl, in front of her friends, also changing. It is not known if Dr Land has investigated this allegation.
